Bereavement Program
While there are many ways we can show our heartfelt concern especially if we knew the Brother personally, we can also offer our condolences as a Assembly, we can honor our fallen Brother by attending the viewing and/or funeral, presenting a personalized Knights of Columbus – Resolution of Condolence to the family and utilizing the Color Guard, if desired and available.
Chalice Program
The Chalice Ceremony is conducted separately from the wake and funeral. The Faithful Navigator, or his designated representative, determine the family's wishes and Coordinate with the Color Corps Commander, to work with the Parish to determine a location for the Ceremony and any post-ceremony reception that the Family may desire.
Good of the Order
Please leave your prayers and good intentions for friends, family and fellow Sir Knights. We will announce your prayers at our monthly meeting and prayer groups.
Memorial and Healing Cards
Memorial Cards for honoring the memory of someone who has passed away. Healing Cards for comfort to someone who is ill or recovering. Card features an image of our founder, Blessed Michael McGivney, and includes a message that the recipient will be remembered at Mass by our State Chaplain and prayed for by seminarians at St. John Vianney and St. Vincent de Paul seminaries. A donation is made in the recipient’s name to the Florida K of C Charities Vocations Fund.
